With over 39 million members, AARP is the leading nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization for people age 50 and over in the United States.   AARP is known for providing a host of services to this ever-growing segment of the population by:

  • Informing members and the public on issues important to this age group

  • Advocating on legislative, consumer and legal issues

  • Promoting community service

  • Offering a wide range of special products and services to members

AARP is now taking on a new challenge:  demanding solutions from presidential candidates, members of Congress and business and civic leaders.  In collaboration with the National Federation of Businesses, the National Business Roundtable, and SEIU, AARP launched Divided We Fail to amplify the voices of millions of Americans who believe that health care and lifetime financial security are the most pressing domestic issues facing our nation.  We will be educating voters, building an army of people committed to change and publicizing candidates’ positions, so that all Americans can compare where they stand on these critical issues.
